“ It's summer, so sometimes I don't feel like a hot espresso drink. I've been on an espresso tonic bender lately, which is what I hoped to find at Decibel. But they don't have one - instead, they have a cold brew soda ... which is ridiculously tasty. It has an orange slice and a bit of vanilla. I also got a note of chocolate, probably from the coffee beans. My wife got a Vietnamese iced coffee, which you won't see at many coffeehouses. Finally, they had ice cream, so my daughter was pretty happy, too. Note: We're visiting from the Phoenix area. Which means Decibel is yet another something cool we wish we had in our area. ”
“ The medium-roast coffee I had was fresh-brewed and I added a shot of espresso for a classic "redeye." Without the shot, I might have questioned the strength, but with the shot, I found a perfect, strong, fresh cup of hot coffee to sip in their outdoor patio. The patio is modest, with 10 metal tables in the complex (the shops sits within a complex called "the Annex" off the Tucson bike loop to the west of downtown. ”
“ Friendly staff and a cool modern design made Decibel Coffee a memorable experience. And the coffee itself was excellent. I had an iced decaf Americano with heavy cream. The Coffee was smooth and nutty and only very slightly fruity. Just enough fruity notes not to be flat or bitter. But not so much that it was sour. The barista accommodated me by putting the raw sugar into the coffee whiles it was hot before adding the ice. Which makes all the difference. They also added just the right amount of heavy cream to accentuate the nutty flavors in the coffee without washing out the taste completely. Good baristas make all the difference. ”
“ Delicious med roast espresso from coffee pros. Scones look deadly, both savory, sweet and vegan. Lovely part of town to walk and sip. Very enjoyable. ”
“ I loved EVERYTHING about this place. The coffee, treats, friendly customer service, and the ambience. Very relaxing atmosphere with reasonably priced goodies. I would definitely come back and bring a friend ! ”
“ Really sensational little coffee shop. Fully embraced the beautiful Tucson weather by having mostly quaint outdoor seating among the trees and a few cacti. Incredible baristas who pull a great shot of espresso. And I had a particular affinity for the scones, which were fresh baked and had some unique and fantastic flavors (like blood orange or rhubarb). Unfortunately I live on the other side of the country from them, but I think back on the few mornings I spent there fondly. ”
“ A proper espresso pulled by a pro. Not bitter, great crema, gone in 120 seconds Warmed up the cup before hand as well. It’s easy to find a good latte, much harder to find a quality espresso ... ”
“ Came to this fantastic little coffee shop on our road trip from Texas to California. It’s a little village made entirely of shipping containers with misters and a variety of stores. Great stop and fantastic experience. ”
